ABOUT - MANDRAGORA

Dear all,

Many of you have been asking about me and my brand, Mandragora.

Since I don't like talking about myself and I'm not very good at it 🙁, it took me a while to respond. But I've decided to briefly share a few words about myself, my brand, why I created it, and how it's a part of me.

I've dreamt of designing and creating for as long as I can remember. I've always loved fashion, and it has been a constant presence in my life. Fashion has been an integral part of my professional career, taking me to prestigious fashion hubs like Milan, Paris, London, and Tokyo during my modeling career.

These places were my second home for a long time, and one of the highlights of my career was winning an award in Top Model in London and later being part of the jury in another edition.

I love dance, art, and music. All these elements are a part of me, shaping my identity. When creating my brand, I wanted to share a piece of myself through the things I create, to encapsulate what I love the most – the joy of life, uniqueness, and the feeling of being extraordinary and daring, just like all of you. You deserve to show it on the outside, not just keep it within yourself :)))

Five years ago, I returned to Poland. I became a mother and a wife 🙂. I understood how much effort and dedication it takes to raise a child, how challenging it is, and the responsibility it carries. What could improve a woman's mood better than nice clothes :)) To feel beautiful even in the midst of the daily struggle with responsibilities ;)) Hence, the idea for tracksuits! Because what do mothers and working women feel most comfortable and relaxed in? ... Well, what? In tracksuits! But that doesn't mean you can't look nice, elegant, sexy, and relaxed in them – simply beautiful and be yourself 🙂

In today's world, tracksuits have become a universal product. You can work in them, enjoy a coffee by the fireplace, work out, or go to a club or a date ;))

Nothing at all limits us these days – except ourselves ;))

Returning to the point:

I've always been afraid to design on my own because I have no experience in it. I can't put my ideas on paper. However, my husband supported me in this decision and encouraged me to believe in myself, so I tried.

I can't put my ideas on paper.

However, my husband supported me in this decision and gave me wings 🙂 He managed to make me believe in myself - so I tried.

That's how I discovered that there's a profession called clothing constructor. And I found my soulmate who understands me without words.

This constructor has her own sewing room in Poland. And she introduced me from a to z by the hand into this world 🙂

I hope each of you finds a part of yourself here, into which I pour my whole heart and a lot of work, to make each project unique and individual.

My projects take a while to create, but it's because I pay special attention to details, and everything has to be tip-top 🙂

That's why I guarantee that I sew from the highest-quality materials, everything is made in Poland. Perfectly refined forms and unique designs are created with you in mind, so they fit perfectly on each of you.

However, Mandragora is me, and as I change, Mandragora changes with me 🙂

It's time for the next step and new things that you will see soon :*.

As for the name, the name Mandragora emerged during the pandemic.

People were losing their jobs, had to change careers. We were extremely lost, frightened, stressed, and depressed.

Hence the idea that this name should be connected to the fact that life gives us signs, and we must move forward, step out of our comfort zone. Take what life offers us today, enjoy it, and don't be sad.

So, Mandragora – a mystical plant that resembles a little person in shape. It's a medicinal plant, a painkiller (the pain that people have to deal with).

So, Mandragora – an antidote to all the evil 🥰
